  • Dooley says Wednesday evening's Dáil vote was one of the most shameful days in the history of Ireland. He describes the Defence Amendment Bill as the measure to abolish the triple lock, which required a UN Security Council mandate followed by Dáil and government approval before 12 or more members of the Defence Forces go on overseas missions. He says 79 TDs voted in favour, and calls that disgraceful.
  • He names who was absent and who turned up. He says a Fianna Fáil TD who claims to stand up for neutrality missed the vote, and that a Dublin North independent TD was also missing. In his telling, many so-called independents turned up in force, including the one he calls the kingmaker of this coalition, and he lists others from Galway and elsewhere who voted with the government. He tells viewers to remember them.
  • On what happens next, Dooley says the bill goes to committee stage, where the defence committee has nine members and five of them are from the government, so he calls it essentially a done deal. After report stage in the Dáil and the Seanad, he says it is due to reach the President, and he says he is watching to see whether she signs it or refuses.
  • He argues the vote is part of years of eroding neutrality, and says even Micheál Martin called the triple lock a key component of neutrality in a speech in 2013. He ties it to Ireland joining the coalition of the willing, to talk of sending up to 100 Defence Forces members to the Balkans where about 12 are now, and to the Gaza peace plan. He compares the moment to John Redmond and the First World War, and says the richest 10% hold 50% of the wealth while working-class people would be sent to the front lines. He closes by asking viewers to share the video and keep standing up for neutrality and against war.

Hello everyone

Hello everyone. Yesterday, Wednesday 21st of October was one of the most shameful days in the history of Ireland. This was the evening where a vote was carried in the DA to abolish the triple lock. This in essence was the defense amendment bill that was introduced by Helen McInty. And the idea behind it was to abolish the triple lock. That required a UN security council mandate followed by D and government approval before 12 members or more of the defense forces.

Are sent on overseas missions. Now 79 TDs voted in favor of this absolutely disgraceful and despicable. And it was notable that a couple were missing. John McInness of Fina Fall was missing from this vote. A man who's claimed to stand up for neutrality. Interesting enough he was there today in the chair as K cora holding court in the highest seat in D Aaron and I also have Barry Henahan a Dublin North independent TD a man who's.

Very much signed up to the part of the corrupt establishment. he was missing from this vote. Interestingly enough, at the same time, many of those so-called independents were fully signed up and turned up in force. People like Michael Larry, who's been the kingmaker in this coalition, signed up and carried this vote forward. So, remember him. the people of Tipperary and a small part of Kenya who'll be dragging the young men and women off to fight imperial wars.

That's the agenda. At the same time also we've seen so-called independents like Jillian Tul vote with the government. Kevin Boxer Morin [snorts] also voting with the government. And remember Sean Canny so-called independent TD from Gway again voting with the corrupt government. This now will move forward. This bill will move forward now to committee stage where the defense committee comprises of five members of the government. There's nine members in total in this defense committee. So it's essentially a done.

Deal before it goes back to report stage in front of boat houses of the rockus doll and Shannet and following that it's due to end up in the Phoenix park in Aris Neutron with Katherine Connley and let's see what Katherine Connley does she bring forward a council estate does she also refuse to sign it let's see what plays out over the next period of time but it [snorts] is quite important now that more and more people stand up.

To what's taken place in Irish society because this

To what's taken place in Irish society because this is a drag towards militarism. Over the last few years, we've seen the Irish government deliberately erode any notion of Irish neutrality [snorts] in particular the triple lock which has been a key component even according to Mihal Martin in a speech back in 2013 of Irish neutrality but now it seems to be completely expendable. Remember when this was voted through on over 66 years ago, the idea behind it was to provide.

“To what's taken place in Irish society because this is a drag towards militarism”

Safety and ultimate sovereignty for the people of Ireland. Now we have a corrupt government led by Mihon Martin, Simon Harris and the Larry Lakis who are all too willing to sign young men and women up to the war machine. Miho Martin already assigned Ireland up to the so-called coalition of the willing. That is what the US told Europe to do, wasn't it? In relation to Ukraine back in 2025 when Pete Hgset spoke at the Munich Security Conference to tell Europe to.

Step up and support the US proxy war in Ukraine, at the same time decimate so many of the proxies here in Europe. and Miho Martin is all too willing to be the best boy in the class for Brussels and taking orders from Vander Lion and Washington DC rather than serving the interests of the people of Ireland. This has deep parallels to what happened over a century ago in Irish history when you consider the leader of the Irish.

Parliamentary Party, John Redmond, split the Irish volunteers and said a home rule was on the table and he said it was going to be paused for the duration of the first world war once a lot of Irish men went off to the front lines and many were used as cannon in killing fields like the SAM and many others. to be fighting an imperial war that we should have had no hand, act or part in. And [snorts] the same language has been.

Used today where they're speaking about the European values. Well, I spoke yesterday in my video about the values in the context of what the play is in terms of this new mission towards Lebanon. Remember the same time it's been reported that the Irish government now are looking at sending defense force members to the Balkans. over 100 currently there about 12 12 in that region and now the idea has to send up to 100 members of the defense forces and.

Of course there's this big agenda being pushed in

Of course there's this big agenda being pushed in Gaza Trump's famous peace plan for Gaza which will put Ireland directly in the foreign line with Hamas and not to mention the horrific elements to what took place in Lebanon in terms of Hezbollah and the Lebanese armed forces and Israel. So, it's just absolute madness putting it [snorts] in the firing line at every hands turn by the corrupt political establishment. People like Mihal Martin got no interest in representing the.

People of Ireland. Even goes against the founding principles of a lot of his fina colleagues. but he is only a European Union branch manager as I said that had zero interest in representing the people of Ireland. So it was a tra t treasonous act by the politicians again yesterday and remember them all because they're going to drag young men and women who don't think twice about it and say it's about the values and about their ideals.

The values what values are they fighting for? the so-cal market where the money gets funneled upwards towards the billionaires and the very wealthy in Irish society where the richest 10% have 50% of the wealth but it's the ordinary working-class people who be forced off to the front lines so people should stand up more than ever now stand up for the interests of Irish independence and Irish sovereignty and Irish neutrality the interests and the needs of ordinary.

Working people here in Ireland this generation and future future generations because they've been sold out repeatedly by the lies of this political establishment. Remember Nice, remember Lisbon treaties that people were told to vote on a number of times, but you cannot trust any word that comes out of their mouths. They're only puppet actors playing the people of Ireland for complete and utter fools. So, thanks so much for the support with my videos. Really appreciate them. And uh thanks again for.

All the shares from my video. So please share it. Please get the word out far and wide. And please keep sharing the message message to stand up for neutrality and against war because war has never ever served the interests of people. Thanks so much for the support. Appreciate it. and song of hope.
