TL;DR
  • Dooley says he is on a road in Dublin 4, outside the offices of the Irish Security and Defence Association, which he calls the key lobbyists for the war industry and the military industrial complex in Ireland. He says it was founded in 2021, and reads out its stated mission to develop security and defence capabilities across land, sea and air, protect society, create jobs and grow the economy.
  • He names who he says is behind it. Members and investors, in his telling, include a drone company based in County Clare, a law firm, a university in the west of Ireland, the French state-owned company KNDS, Lockheed Martin, military training companies, think tanks and Accenture. He says the board includes a co-founder who owns a military training company and several academics, one of whom he says has argued Ireland should move away from neutrality.
  • Dooley says the group has lobbied the Irish government over 20 times since 2022, with an open door to the Minister for Defence and Foreign Affairs. He says the minutes of those meetings are very hard to come by, that there is no agenda, and that officials also met them at a private members club on Stephen's Green, which he says was not mentioned on the lobbying register. He adds that a think tank set up in 2020 by many of the same people has no public information on its funding.
  • He says the group now wants to work with the IDA and Enterprise Ireland on an industrial strategy, and links this to the erosion of neutrality, the triple lock and the EU's 800 billion euro rearmament plan for 2030. He compares it with Brussels, where he says up to 2 billion is spent a year on lobbying, and says 70% of Irish legislation is transposed from EU directives. He closes by saying these people need to keep being exposed.

Hello everyone

Hello everyone. I'm on North Humberland Road in Dublin 4 and behind me is the offices of the Irish Security and Defense Association. Now they are the key lobbyists for the war industry and the military industrial complex in Ireland. They're only founded back in 2021 and their mission is to ensure Ireland develops appropriate leading edge and trusted security and defense capabilities encompassing land, sea, and air. And the mission also goes on to say it's protecting society, creating jobs, and enhancing economic.

Growth. So there you go. Not too far from Dublin City Center, the Grand Canal. It's just over my shoulder in that direction. And you're out towards Boss Bridge as you go up in this direction, not too far from Beggar's Bush just down the road here. So right on the doorstep of Dublin 4 is the Irish Security and Defense Association. And as I said, the key lobbyists uh the members were united by a vision and common concern for.

Ireland security vulnerabilities. And wait for it, some of the members and the people who have invested in this company are a tech which are a drone company based in county cla also Arto Cox Law Firm, the Atlantic Technological University, which are university based in the west of Ireland. I think they're around Siggo in that direction. And the military industry complex KN&DS, that's the French governmentowned company, which has recently acquired a contract for 550 armored vehicles with the state, which.

Will cost about 1 billion plus euro. I covered that in a video a number of days ago. and Loheed Martin and the military training companies and including other think tanks and wait for it accenture massive corporations that are members of this to profit from the war industry that are looking to ferment here in Ireland. Now on the board are people like Pat O' Connor who's a co-founder. He coincidentally owns the company VR AI which are military training company.

Also is Katherine Hel who is a lecturer I

Also is Katherine Hel who is a lecturer I believe out in UCD in international research and politics and also was on the government appointed commission for defense forces. Peter Coyle as well who was on this commission for defense forces you understand as well and Ben Tonra who was a UCD professor who has said Ireland should move away from neutrality and stop freeloading on the backs of other countries and said it's an old fashioned idea. This is just remarkable isn't it?

As these guys trying to profit for the war industry here in Ireland. And there's a recognized National Defense Industry Association for Ireland. And they've been arguing about the urgency of spending more money on the military industry complex and the war machine and to create a war industry here in Ireland. They've lobbyed the Irish government over 20 times since 2022. Remarkable, isn't it? We have the open door to the Minister for Defense and Foreign Affairs. Previously met with.

Simon Harris and Helen McInty and the minutes of these meetings are very hard to come by and there is no agenda for these meetings either. All they have is a few scraps of paper in relation to what was discussed and they've al already discussed with members of the Department of Defense in Stevens Green members club residence club. I think which is on Steven Green which is a very prominent private members club. So I'm sure the membership.

“I think which is on Steven Green which is a very prominent private members club”

There will be well in the six figures but this wasn't mentioned on the lobby and register and it's very very interesting apart from this intensive lobbying that's taking place they came together as part of this Azor forum. This is a think tank that was set up in 2020 and many of those members I mentioned including Peter Coyle, Katherine Hel, Ben Tundra and P Connor are part of this think tank and there's no information in terms of how that was.

Funded I'm sure by many corporations and very high netw worth individuals pushing the war agenda and they're looking now to move towards strategic insights and looking at working with the IDA and enterprise Ireland in terms in terms of leveling up an industrial strategy. Now, this is what they want want to do. This is what's happening in Ireland as they speak in terms of the erosion of our basic neutrality, the triple lock and in the context of the drive towards more.

Militarism across the European Union

Militarism across the European Union. Recently, I spoke about the plans for the European Union 800 billion euro plan of the rearm in Europe, which is defense readiness for 2030. And many of these members of this Irish security and defense association are pushing this agenda to start a war industry here in Ireland, but also to procure weapons and drones and missiles from other countries around Europe. Now, this is again to boost the profits of those in society.

Recently we've heard the comments to say that there has to be sacrifices made to push this war industry and that this will be poured more the same mantra and this will be pursued by these lobbyists like the Irish security and defense association coincidentally only founded in 2021 who've had the uh front door key to Lancer House and to the Department of Foreign Affairs and Steven Green. So these are the people who are pushing this agenda, calling the shots. We.

Already know what happens to Brussels in terms of the big lobbyists being located there. Up to 2 billion is being spent a year on lobbying. It's about 25,000 lobbyists that are located in Brussels as well. And 70% of legislation we know in Ireland is transposed from European Union directives which are again completely anti-democratic because they're at the behest of these big corporate lobbyists. And coincidentally, I'm just at a house that was on the corner here, which was a famous.

Location for standing up against the British Empire well over 100 years ago, 1916 and further on towards Colon William terrorists as well. So big important part of Irish history around this area. But we'll see who's in these locations in the affluent leafy suburbs of Bald's Bridge in Dublin 4. So um thanks for joining me today and we need to keep exposing these people and calling what's really taking place behind the scenes in our society and with the erosion of our.

Neutrality. So thanks so much for the support. Really appreciate it. And from Dublin today fall. See you soon. Bye-bye.
