  • Dooley says the government has been out in force claiming the triple lock must go for the sake of peacekeeping, and calls this complete and utter nonsense. He says the Defence Amendment Bill, which he says Micheál Martin wants rushed through by Christmas, is about getting more than 12 members of the Defence Forces onto overseas deployments. The reason, in his telling, is a European Union force protection mission to Lebanon under the common security and defence policy, with a three-year mandate, because the US opposed extending the UNIFIL mission.
  • He says the mission does not replace UNIFIL and is not peacekeeping, and that this comes from the EU itself and from its foreign policy head. As he describes it, the mission is meant to strengthen Lebanon's security institutions, help with border management and support the Lebanese state's authority. It is not there to monitor ceasefire violations, which he says Irish troops were doing and reporting on until now. He lists border security, maritime operations, surveillance and intelligence gathering as part of the remit, and says the EU has not yet said how many troops it wants.
  • Dooley says UNIFIL had a physical presence in the south, while this force will be spread across Lebanon. He says the US and Israel have criticised UNIFIL for failing to contain Hezbollah, that residents have been pushed from their villages by Israeli incursions that sped up from 2024, and that Israel now occupies about 600 square kilometres of southern Lebanon. He suggests the space could end up handed to Israel and links it to a greater Israel plan. He says the mission means Ireland being dragged into a civil war, which he calls a breach of the Irish constitution.
  • He follows the money, saying the EU has transferred over 505 million euro to Lebanon in recent years and calling it part of a corporate agenda pushed by the US, tied to the Abraham Accords. He says Micheál Martin called the triple lock a core part of Irish neutrality back in 2013, and points to Shannon as a war base, the RAF controlling Irish airspace and the Nice and Lisbon referendums. Standing near Oscar Wilde's house at 1 Merrion Square North, he says young working class people will be the ones sent to fight, and asks viewers to share the video.

Hello everyone

Hello everyone. Here is government's have been out in force over the past couple of days trying to claim that the reason for abolishing the triple lock is for peacekeeping. This is complete and utter nonsense, misinformation, disinformation, or whatever you want to call it. But this is what they're really pushing. It's about getting more than 12 members of the fence forces on overseas deployments. That's what the legislation states itself to the fence amendment bill, which Martin wants to get rushed.

Through by Christmas. This is because they want to send members of the fence forces as part of a European Union force protection mission to Lebanon. This is under the European Union common security and defense policy. This will have a three-year mandate because the US opposed extending the UNIFIL mission, which is due to finish in the next number of months. Now the concerns about what would take place on Lebanon's south border opened up the door for the European Union to.

Push forward with a force protection mission. Now this isn't replace the UNIFIL mission or it isn't for peacekeeping. This comes from the European Union themselves and it comes as well from Kaya Kallas, who is the foreign policy head of the European Union. Now what does it really do? This is about strengthening Lebanon's security and the institutions of Lebanon and to help with their secure their border management and support the Lebanese state's ability to exercise its authority.

And it is not there to monitor any ceasefire violations, which previously members of the fence forces up to now were doing and reporting back. Now they're to offer what they claim is specialized training and technical assistance and advice to the Lebanese armed forces. And there's no answer yet from European Union in terms of the amount of numbers that will be sent there as part of this military deployment. So, it's a military and civilian mission. As I said, border.

Security, maritime operations, surveillance, intelligence gathering, that's part of the remit. And these are the facts. This isn't any nonsense that's been pushed by the media and by Micheál Martin here in Ireland. Now, this is to push forward the agenda of the European Union and US and Israel involved themselves in a civil war, which is absolute lunacy and a complete breach of the Irish constitution in terms of not being involved in any war or declaring war without a sense of all there, which.

Is absolutely the truth to what they're pushing forward

Is absolutely the truth to what they're pushing forward. Apart from destroying whatever's left of our neutrality. So, since 1778, the UNIFIL mission has monitored cessation of the hostilities and had a physical presence in the south. Now, this force will not have a presence in the south. It will be all over Lebanon. And as I stated before, the US and Israel have constantly criticized the UNIFIL mission because of the failure to contain Hezbollah in that region. Now,.

So many residents and people in those areas have been completely forced away from their homelands and villages, in particular, by the Israelis' incursions into those territories over the past number of years, which has hastened since 2024. Now, the idea now would be to the missions would be given up and those spaces, for instance, in southern Lebanon would be then handed over to Israel. Just wait and see how this plays out over the next period of time because.

“Just wait and see how this plays out over the next period of time because”

There's always been a push to greater Israel plan, which has always been part of the wider agenda in the Middle East. And currently, Israelis occupy about 600 square kilometers of Southern Lebanon. So, what are the orders defense forces going to be there at all? It's a complete nonsense coming from the Irish establishment say this is about peacekeeping when it's anything but as I outlined what this EU mission is fundamentally all about and fundamentally, it goes beyond that.

Because it all comes down to money. So, it always comes down to the corporate agenda. For instance, of the US, the European Union have transferred over 505 million euro in the last couple of years to Lebanon in terms of strengthening their democracy, strengthen their institutions, and so-called resilience. Uh which is absolutely just part of a bigger corporate agenda being pushed by the US. Hence, why the US is so pushing in that project as part of tying up.

Support with many other Arab nations in part of the Abraham Accords, which are looking out for Lebanon to sign up to. So, they're only really proxies for the wider agenda in that region. And Ireland should have no hand act a partner and needless to say needless to say been dragged into any sort of civil war conflict. So, this is the nonsense being pushed by the Irish political establishment and it needs to be countered and dispelled. So, please.

Share my videos and thanks so much for all the support with my videos. I'm pretty grateful. Thanks for subscribing also to my channel because this will be a massive attack on Irish neutrality. Remember me how Martin back in 2013 said the triple lock was a core part and component of Irish neutrality. We had a number of referendum referendums during this voted a couple of times through Nice and through Lisbon treaties as well. And the core component was to maintain our.

Neutrality. But, we know that government has no interest in maintaining our neutrality. We've seen that with the use of Shannon as a war base, the incursions into Irish ports, the controlling of the Irish airspace by the RAF, and also with 20% 15 to 20% of our of our country is occupied as well by an 804. So this is a drive towards militarism, drive towards NATO, where European Union starts and NATO finishes is much much the same.

And this comes at the same time when they've no interest in serving the needs and interests of ordinary people. They're more interested in bowing down to their corporate masters in Brussels and Washington, D.C. than standing up for the interests of ordinary working people. And this drags us as I said Ireland into a civil war scenario. But it'll be young working class people that'll be dragged off to fight. And coincidentally, just behind me is the house of.

Home of Oscar Wilde, 1 Merrion Square North. Um he was a fantastic Irish writer. And he spoke during war times as well to say during war the strong make slaves of the weak. And he said in peace times the rich make slaves essentially of the poor. So this is what they're pushing they're pushing this agenda for war and they're trying to use whatever opportunities they can and whatever so-called media platforms completely captured by the political establishment.

In terms of driving this agenda towards more militarism and trying to erode the triple lock here in Ireland. So thanks so much for supporting my videos, really appreciate them. I'm in Dublin Stephen Small of People Take Care. Bye-bye.
