  • The HMS Somerset — a Type 23 frigate in operation for over 30 years, estimated at about €200 million, armed with anti-air, anti-ship and anti-submarine missiles plus a helicopter — has been docked in Dublin Port since Friday June 12th after exercises with the LÉ James Joyce in the Irish Sea; Dooley calls it another NATO “incursion”, normalised under Micheál Martin’s government, with more warships welcomed in around Cork by government and “so-called opposition” alike.
  • He traces the paper trail to a refreshed memorandum of understanding between Ireland and Britain in March of last year — Helen McEntee as defence minister alongside John Healey — covering closer cooperation on air defence, cyber and procurement including maritime, arrangements that, in the statement Dooley quotes, were put on “a more formal and transparent footing”; Martin, he says, has also signed Ireland up to the British-led Joint Expeditionary Force (JEF), a rapid-response grouping drawn from the Baltic regions with many NATO members.
  • All this comes, Dooley argues, as the government works to erode the triple lock and February’s National Maritime Security Strategy 2026–2030 pushes the establishment’s subsea-cables-and-Russians narrative — while the same state can’t protect its own borders, has run the Defence Forces down to an “abysmal state”, leaves the RAF patrolling Irish airspace and has let the US military use Shannon as a de facto airbase for a couple of decades, with the European Defence Agency and NATO’s tailored partnership programme linking Ireland into what he calls the war machine.
  • The ship arrives the same day the EU asylum and migration pact takes effect — “another further blow to our sovereignty”, in his telling — and as Mark Carney, “another globalist”, is greeted off the plane by Martin at Dublin Airport for a two-day visit; invoking Wolfe Tone, Dooley argues war serves only the “corrupt elites” and the military-industrial complex manufacturing in the six counties, never ordinary working-class people — “no to NATO, no to any warships coming into our ports”.

Hello everyone

Hello everyone. A NATO warship is docked in Dublin Port. This is the HMS Somerset, which is a type 23 frigate, which has been in operation for over 30 years and was estimated to be worth about 200 million euro. It's an anti- air missiles on board, anti-ship missiles, and anti-submarine missiles on board along with a helicopter. Now, this is in Dublin Port since yesterday, Friday, June the 12th, um following exercises with the LE James Joyce over the past couple of days around the.

Irish Sea. So, another incursion by a NATO warship into Irish ports. This has become normalized over the past few years, and particularly with this current government and Micheál Martin at the helm of it. Now, we've seen yesterday with the inception of European Union asylum and migration pact, another further blow to our sovereignty. Now, at the same time, this is a massive blow to Irish neutrality, or what they claim is left of Irish neutrality.

Because back in March of last year, there was a refreshed memorandum of understanding between Ireland and Britain in relation to bilateral defense cooperation. Now, Helen McEntee was defense minister alongside with John Healy, who has recently departed from the Labour Party, and it was around working in closer cooperation around air defense, cyber, and procurement, including maritime shipping. Here we go.

And also, back in his statement at that stage, said that that Ireland has put the existing defense cooperation arrangements between ourselves and Britain on a more formal and transparent footing. Now, so here we are now. A warship coming into an Irish port, a so-called neutral country. This is at the same time the Irish government want to erode the triple lock, and force young men and women to fight on imperial battles as the drive towards the EU army stroke.

NATO continues

NATO continues. Because Martin has also signed Ireland up to what they call as the Joint Expeditionary Expeditionary Force, JEF it's called, and this is led by Britain. And this is a rapid response unit from many countries around the Baltic regions, and particularly many NATO members on this group as well. And this is another further blow towards neutrality as the Irish government have no interest in preserving. And this follows on from a few months ago, back in February, there was an announcement.

Around the National Maritime Security Strategy in 2026 to 2030. This includes a key priority as the maritime security. They will claim the undersea cables, the subsea cables from those Russians, isn't it? This is always a constant narrative being pushed by the political and media establishment in Ireland around the subsea and the critical infrastructure and all this sort of This is at the same time where they can't even protect Irish borders, and they've run down their defense forces.

To absolutely abysmal state, not to mention the naval services and the RAF patrolling Irish airspace. And for the past couple of decades, the US military use in Shannon as de facto military airbase. But this has been a big push towards a drive towards NATO with the European Defense Agency and the tailored partnership programs, the individual tailored partnership programs with the NATO for Ireland to link up with this war machine.

So this was taking place in Ireland at the same time Mark Carney is starting his two-day visit, another globalist, and has been greeted by Micheál Martin off the plane as Dublin Airport for his two-day visit to Ireland, another globalist set up. So, here we have it. They've no interest in Irish neutrality, our sovereignty, and have these warships docked in Dublin Port. And now over the last few years we've seen many more ships come in, and particularly in around Cork as well.

They've made incursions into Irish ports, and the Irish government will allow welcome them, which the so-called opposition will also welcome them, and have no interest in preserving any notion of Irish neutrality. We all know what's happening with the six counties up the north in the context of NATO and the military-industrial complex being manufactured in many parts of the six counties as well. Many companies are making an absolute fortune from that, from the brutality and the horrors.

Of war. This is who it serves, and never serves the interests of ordinary working-class people. It only serves those corrupt elites at the very top of society who try and portray the image that's for our protection when they're trying to erode Irish neutrality. Remember the words of Wolfe Tone when he stood up for Irish independence, which has to be intertwined with Irish neutrality and the sovereign state of our own country, having our own policy derived and dictated to by the people.

People are fundamentally sovereign, despite what Martin says. So no to NATO, no to any warships coming into our ports. Let's stand up against colonialism, against imperialism, against any EU stroke NATO army. Thanks for the support and please share my videos. So I'm W A today it's Donegal.

HMS Somerset docks in Dublin: a NATO “incursion” into a so-called neutral country.

The HMS Somerset — a Type 23 frigate over 30 years in service, worth an estimated €200 million and carrying anti-air, anti-ship and anti-submarine missiles plus a helicopter — sits in Dublin Port after exercises with the LÉ James Joyce in the Irish Sea. Dooley argues the visit is another normalised NATO “incursion” into a so-called neutral country, one strand of a drive — through the UK defence memorandum, the Joint Expeditionary Force and the push to erode the triple lock — to fold Ireland into an EU/NATO war machine.
