Hello everyone
Hello everyone. Today, June the 12th in Ireland, the European Union migration and asylum pact takes effect under the legislation called the International Protection Bill 2026. Now, this is to claim that there will be uniform rules across the European Union. But, in fact, it is a devastating blow to Irish sovereignty in terms of the control of our own borders.
Now, this bill was passed back in the end of June 2024. And I, along with many others, highlighted what was going on during that period of time where some political parties abstained and so-called opposition and so-called opposition supported a lot of the amendments of this European Union migration and asylum pact. But, now we have the bureaucrats in Brussels deciding how many people claiming asylum, stroke economic migrants, will come into Ireland. The Justice and Home Affairs Minister, Jim O'Callaghan,.
Has said that is an it's an important milestone in ensuring the integrity and efficiency of the asylum process. And he said it's a build public confidence. Really? You cannot make any of this nonsense up. To ensure integrity and the efficiency of the asylum process. Well, there's absolutely no integrity and no efficiency currently. And there will be next to none moving forward when you have bureaucrats dictating how many people should come to Ireland. And if we don't take them, we have to contribute.
Into, in inverted commas, a solidarity fund to other countries of up to 20,000 euro per person. Absolutely astounding. But what do you expect from the Irish government who have no interest in standing up for our sovereignty? It's interesting when Martin talks about territorial integrity, sovereignty, and other matters, it's okay for Ukraine, isn't it? But when it comes to Ireland, their own country, this is put last because the Irish governments are sellouts. And on top of that, they are great for looking for.
Being the best boys and girls in the class in Brussels. Much the same when Martin was part of the same government that brought in the bank bailout that led to the devastating austerity in Ireland where Jean-Claude Trichet said at the time that a bomb would go off in Dublin. And then we were saddled with over 40% of the total European Union banking debt. That's Ireland for you, isn't it? They just keep taking and taking and taking.
Until there's enough
Until there's enough. Now, that adds to the massive public demonstrations and direct actions through the water demonstrations. But now, it's a time to really stand up for our country's sovereignty. Now, they claim it's uniformity, it's a common European Union database, and it's a solidarity mechanism and the European Union will be prepared for future crises. So, here we go. More immigration chaos coming down the tracks in Ireland. And as well, it's part of the biometric data also in terms of.
Digital identification. Now, currently, there is recourse under a regulation in Europe to prevent any more immigrants coming to Ireland claiming asylum. Because this is under the European Union regulation Article 62 where you have significant immigration problems that you could then call a halt to it. And there is precedence because Poland also have decided to go against this and to ask for this regulation to make them exempt from taking any ends under the European Union migration and asylum pact.
So they have until July the 1st to do that, but the Irish government haven't even mentioned it. The media won't talk about it, but it's important that we all know about it and keep speaking out about what's taking place in Ireland and the demands that they look for an exemption. But at the same time, what other countries previously have opted out of the European Union migration and asylum pact such as Denmark. And remember the Lisbon Treaty.
Back nearly two decades ago where part of the conditions of the second agreement that was pushed forward with the people on referendum was around protocol 21 which was an opt-out clause. Now there is no opt-out clause with European Union migration and asylum pact, but there is European Union regulations that you can access now to push this forward in the next number of weeks, but we all know that the Irish government aren't interested in pushing that forward because they're just yes.
Men and women for Brussels. And according to Martin, sovereignty is a backward looking idea. So we've become nothing more than a vassal of the European Union. Really, where the globalist agenda is taking hold in Ireland. And it's taking hold with the media classes and the political classes as well. And so-called opposition are more of the same agenda. There's no real political opposition opposition in Ireland to what's taking place. So it's important that we keep using our voices and speaking out.
And change what I would call from below through
And change what I would call from below through our communities through people standing up and speaking out to what's taking place. So, it's incumbent on all of us to use our voices to speak out to what's taking place right across Ireland and happening right over our heads. Shows you really what the European Union's all about in terms of the technocratic control and the deeper centralization of power through the European Commission. And remember, they're all unelected and unaccountable.
So, this is the democracy and values that they keep speaking about. It's nothing of the sort. And please share my videos and thanks so much for subscribing to my channel. So, from Dublin today, Song of Freedom. I'll see you all soon. Take care.
