Hello everyone, and thanks so much for subscribing to
Hello everyone, and thanks so much for subscribing to my channel. Mainstream media in Ireland, we all know, has gone down the pan. And the latest cozy conversation between Newstalk's Claire Byrne and the leader of the so-called opposition, Sinn Féin's Mary Lou McDonald, really exemplifies this. Today, earlier on the radio, they had a 30-minute cozy, friendly chat where there was no depth or substance or interrogation of policies or positions in terms of this inverted Thomas interview. This is what passes for.
Political discussion in Ireland, where anybody who's a safe pair of hands for the establishment are never interrogated. And we all know about Sinn Féin and their globalist agenda as well. Much the same as those parties currently in power with the Lowry-led independents. Many of them are one of the same, just different sides of the same coin, pursuing the same agenda rather than stand up for our sovereignty, Irish independence, and for ordinary working people. We've seen the desert of the.
Working-class people over the past number of years, and even attack working-class communities. That's typical, isn't it? But at the same time, let's go into a couple of points around this interview, or rather, cozy conversation on Newstalk radio. First of all, she was asked about her term of leadership, the fact that she has been eight years at the helm of Sinn Féin, and she said it's a national organization, and her intention is to drive forward and get.
Into government, to break this stranglehold of Fianna Fáil and Fine Gael. Well, look at many of my previous videos around Sinn Féin's policies and in terms of there being a safe pair of hands for the establishment. Remember Johnny Ronan said there was nothing to fear from Sinn Féin going into government in terms of housing. So, here we have it. More money for the vultures, more money for the landlords, and safe pair of hands for the establishment, much the same as what.
They're doing up in the six counties in the north of Ireland. Now, she went on to speak about the cost of living crisis as well and said that there may be more protests. This is interesting because the protests were led by ordinary working people. They weren't weren't led by any political party or organized by any political party. They were led by ordinary people who had enough of what's taking place in terms of the fuel chaos in Ireland and.
Much the same as this has been kicked the can that's been kicked down the road over the the Irish government who have offered over a billion euro again, which is a subsidy towards those big oil companies rather than tackling the basic necessity of people needing fuel to get about their daily lives and the massive taxation take that they pull in through excise duty and other forms of taxation as well. So, Sinn Féin's answer was to give.
More subsidies in the mini budget for more subsidies
More subsidies in the mini budget for more subsidies rather than tackle the real causes of it. But, that's not tackling the real cause and it's not even talking talking about the real cause because this isn't part of these in verted commas discussion on mainstream media. It's really what they don't tell you rather than what they do tell you, isn't it? At the same time, she was asked about immigration and she said that immigration mass immigration has been a failure of the government to.
Manage correctly or efficiently and a failure to listen to people. And she said many people are welcome here because of the work permits and many people claiming asylum as well. And that Sinn Féin are pushing for a real space resourced and human rights compliant system. Isn't that great? airy-fairy nonsense really from Sinn Féin. Again, benefiting the big employers, nothing about the race to the bottom, cheap labor, nothing about the issues that have taken place in Irish.
“And that Sinn Féin are pushing for a real space resourced and human rights compliant system”
Society with demographic shift and nothing to mention either about the safety concerns from many people in Ireland also what's taking place over the last number of years with a massive shift in population without the black or investment in basic public services and resources. Nothing about that, of course, because she's well cosseted from these disasters that are inflicted on ordinary people. She also went on to speak with the Irish flag and said that it's a flag of peace and traditions,.
Inclusion, peace, and unity. Of course it is. It says never to be disrespected for exclusion. Well, it's about standing up for our pride in our country, our heritage, our independence, or our sovereignty, standing up for taking charge of our own affairs, not being subservient to Brussels or any supranational institution, which Sinn Féin have no interest in standing up to Europe. Interestingly enough, what's going on around Irish unity is important because as debates is continuing and she welcomes the.
Blueprint being pushed forward by Fianna Fáil, the blue shirts themselves. So, I wonder what blueprint they have for the north or united Ireland. It's about benefiting their rich friends, the bankers, and pushing the neoliberal agenda also, which is happening in the six counties to this day. And at the same time, the Irish government, she said she had no plan for a referendum. And also there should be a push towards a discussion around united Ireland and what it really looks.
Like. Well, united Ireland by the people and for the people, not led by any other institution. No discussion about European Union, no discussion about anything else. But it was just this ad nauseam conversation which actually meant very little. She said that Sinn Féin have held symposiums on this issue around Britain and the United States. Interestingly enough, they haven't really held many in Ireland, have they? But they'll get rolling more of the same uh people and actors and maybe paid um.
Lackeys to push this agenda about Irish unity
Lackeys to push this agenda about Irish unity. But what fundamentally is the the of Irish unity in terms not so much about the cost, but in terms about the power. In terms of is are we going to be seating more sovereignty to Europe, more power to Brussels rather than stand up for Irish independence, Irish neutrality, Irish sovereignty, where we can charge of our own policy, but also even further still, have our own currency. It's where in charge of.
Our monetary and fiscal policy. McDonald said nothing of the sort, and that's why she's a safe pair of hands for the establishment. That's why there was no interrogation on these issues by Claire Byrne. And what would you expect by a member of Ireland's 1%, one of the richest 1%? When Remember that interview she gave when she was in her shed, her large shed during the COVID time as well. We all know about that, and we look back in glee.
At those interviews as well, which had serious connotations for our new people and provided cover for the greatest transfer of wealth towards the billionaire class in our society and right across the world. And we've seen massive attacks on our basic rights and restrictions creating the apartheid state. And that was fully supported, by the way, by Sinn Féin and other parties on the so-called opposition, all part of the same political establishment. We need a radical shift in Ireland where the needs.
Of people are put first, and the rights and sovereign rights of every individual are put above all. That's about taking power back to our communities and taking sovereignty essentially back where we can drive forward the direction of our great country, but it's not going to be pushed on by these people who are just lackeys for the globalists.
