  • Reporting from just off O'Connell Bridge, Dooley says O'Connell Street and surrounding streets like Westmoreland Street are in complete lockdown on day three — one of many locations nationwide, with Galway Port and Rosslare blocking fuel coming off ships, Foynes blocked, and the Whitegate oil refinery, home of the national oil reserve, blockaded too.
  • Micheál Martin has called the blockades a "national act of sabotage" and the government says it is sending in the army to clear them — while Martin refuses to meet the demonstrators, insisting he'll only deal with "constituted bodies"; Dooley frames it as a government that would rather chat with its own clique in the cushy confines of Leinster House than respect peaceful protesters.
  • The tools to fix this already exist, Dooley argues — the Consumer Protection Act could cap prices and tackle the big fuel corporations, and taxation on fuel could be cut — but the government won't touch either, choosing confrontation over talks.
  • His wider read: moving the army forward normalises the defence forces on the street — maybe, he suggests, the chaos was helped along to create the conditions for exactly that — part of a globalist drift toward a surveillance state he ties to the push for digital ID and a central bank digital currency, an "Orwellian dystopia" instead of an Ireland whose resources serve its citizens.

Hi everyone

Hi everyone. Day three of the national fuel protests and here I am just off O'Connell Street and O'Connell Bridge. And the keys are complete lockdown O'Connell Street as well and the surrounding roads and streets such as the air street and Westmoreland Street are lockdown. And this is just one of many locations around the country. Many ports are blocked such as Galway Port, Rosslare are blocking fuel from coming off ships and also Foynes is blocked and Whitegate oil refinery where the.

National oil reserve is being held. The Irish government are responding by saying that they're going to send in the army to address this. Micheál Martin said it was a national act of sabotage and is looking for a heavy-handed approach now to address this worsening crisis for ordinary people. But Martin said he won't meet with them. He said that the proper bodies are constituted bodies. He only wants to meet with those bodies and doesn't want to respect.

The peaceful demonstrators right around the country. But people have had enough. They're standing up to what's taking place right across Ireland. They've had enough and it's a tipping point because over the last few years we've seen our democracy being eroded. We've also seen the Irish government act against the interests of the people of Ireland, work for Brussels and pursue the globalist agenda of mass uncontrolled immigration which causes a race to the bottom and they can transfer.

Loads of our public money to make those many rich accommodation providers wealthier. But now this is a deeper escalation by the Irish government because they are saying this is in the so-called national interest. And let's see what takes place over the next number of hours. Now they are moving the army forwards to look for a confrontation with the protesters. They said to clear the blockade in terms of the critical infrastructure in Ireland.

“Now they are moving the army forwards to look for a confrontation with the protesters”

So, maybe they themselves have helped create the chaos to bring the conditions for the change they want in terms of normalizing the defense forces on the street. And this has always been the agenda of the globalists, isn't it? Take more control, clamp down on the right to protest, the right to peaceful assembly, and use their heavy-handed tactics to attack ordinary working people just having a look for basic rights. And as I stated in many videos, there is.

Legislation currently there the consumer protection act where prices

Legislation currently there the consumer protection act where prices could be capped and you could tackle those big fuel corporations. But, they're not willing to address these issues and they could cut the taxation on the fuel as well and for people. But, as they said, this is a tipping point to what's taking place right across Ireland. They've had enough over the last few years and as I said, this is a big move towards taking power back in Ireland.

So, let's see how the next few hours play out in terms of the heavy-handed approach by the army. And we all know this is part of the bigger globalist agenda to have army on the streets, surveillance state, lack of privacy, and a move towards totalitarianism. Already, they're speaking about pushing forward a digital ID and to push forward a central bank digital currency. So, maybe create the chaos, create the conditions for the protest, create the conditions for.

The chaos and then try and clamp down through the heavy-handed approach. So, let's see how this develops, as I said, over the coming hours and see what takes place. And rather than sit down and talk to people, they've no interest in that. They only want to deal with their own little clique of organized government organizations and those that they can actually meet in their cushy confines of Leinster House and have a nice chat and give a few crumbs back to.

Ordinary working class people. So, trying to pull people coming out fair play to them all around the country standing up for the interest of ordinary working people. And now more and ever more and more people should be standing up around what Ireland you want to live in. Not an Ireland which is striving towards the Orwellian dystopia that the Irish government wants to drive us towards. But building Ireland where the resources of the country serve the interests of.

Our citizens. So, thanks so much for all the support with videos. Really appreciate them and from Dublin this evening, slán go foill as you close out with the a very few here. And head out towards the Ha'penny Bridge there in the distance. So, from Dublin this evening, slán go foill. Take care. Bye-bye.

Fuel protests day three: the army sent in as Martin declares a "national act of sabotage".

Reporting from a locked-down O'Connell Street on day three of the national fuel protests — with ports and the Whitegate oil refinery blockaded around the country — Dooley argues the government's decision to send in the army rather than talk to protesters is a heavy-handed escalation that serves a globalist agenda of normalising troops on the streets and clamping down on the right to protest.
