Hello everyone, and thanks so much for subscribing to my channel. In the next number of months, while Ireland holds the European Union presidency, there will be discussions and negotiations around the upcoming European budget. This is the multiannual financial framework between 2028 and 2024. It just involves how the European Union is to be funded over the next 7 years. Now, negotiations will take place in the next 6 months before agreement will be reached in the early part of 2027.
And today, specifically, I want to speak about one component of the multiannual financial framework that is being discussed that is very, very important in the context of censorship right across the European Union. Now, in the first instance, this is called Agora European Union. This was created by the European Commission. This is where there's going to be funding for media, civil society, and wait for it, government organizations, or better known as in the mainstream media as non-government organizations.
It's about pushing on European Union values. Now, this was led by the European People's Party, the Fine Gael uh members of, and they pushed this forward into a working group in terms of the context of funding more government organizations, i.e., organizations that pursue the establishment's agenda. And the European Commission is going to push forward resources into specific organizations that play ball with the establishment's narrative. And so much for diverse dissent and independent voices will be completely frozen out.
Now, this comes under the European Union's democratic resilience, which is part of the European Union democracy shield, which is trying to make information vitally important in terms of its integrity and to claims to counter disinformation and foreign interference and the rampant undermining in news media trust. Now, very many people have no trust in many of the mainstream media and are getting their information through various channels in terms of making up their own mind in the context of what's taking place.
Currently right across Europe and here in Ireland. And apparently, it's supposed to safeguard the information space. And already European Commission have issued the draft, which is going to go forward to the European Parliament and the European Union member states before they are confident that will be adoption in 2027 around this. And wait for it, the cost is at least 8 billion euro. 8 billion euro transferred into the hands of these organizations that are pushing the establishment's agenda.
Agenda essentially
Agenda essentially. And as I stated earlier, it comes under what they call is the European Union Democracy Shield, which is part of the Digital Services Act and where they paid many newspaper providers and media outlets, mainstream media outlets, to be fact checkers. And according to Ursula von der Leyen herself and her dodgy text messages to Albert Bourla, the CEO of Pfizer. Remember those text messages went missing. Information is being weaponized and coincidentally, it's the Irish involvement. Ireland's leading the way.
On this with their European Commissioner, Michael McGrath. He is the Commissioner for Democracy and Rule of Law. And they'll be pulling forward more stakeholders such as think tanks, researchers and so-called fact checkers in terms of pushing this forward over the next number of months because trust is falling in the establishment channels, isn't it? More and more people are moving away from them because they know they only push the establishment's narrative and they're just essentially captured by the establishment to pursue.
The narrative. And it's essentially just program. It's all completely contrite in terms of the information. There's no real debate. There's no dissenting voices. There's no independence in media. And we can see that with the reporting for instance of what took place in Parnell Square a number of years ago in the terrific attacks on the three young children and the adult school teacher as well in the context of the media not reporting on the full facts of the information to.
What took place which transpired in a court case and the conviction of Khalid Bouchareb Bouchareker, an Algerian man, last week in Dublin. This wasn't discussed in open at all in terms of the information. And typical was to blame ordinary people for having concerns around what's taken place in terms of the lack of safety in our cities, our towns, and our communities around Ireland where people should have a say. That's where power should come from, community sovereignty.
But it's a thing of the past according to the political establishment. And as on a European wide level, we've seen what's taken place with the Nord Stream explosion uh for instance, the biggest environmental and terrorist attack on the European soil since the Second World War. But this went unremarked by all those virtue signalers and many of those who came to be climate activists to pin it on Russia. And coincidentally, same time over the last couple of days, a.
Ukrainian has been held open court around what's taken
Ukrainian has been held open court around what's taken place in this horrific attack on the Nord Streams which created environmental carnage in the Baltic with the methane released as well and let's mention the disastrous environmental impacts on the marine life in that region, too. But, we all know who was behind that. Take a few steps forward or back, we can look at the United States. Look at Seymour Hersh's article on that a number of years ago in.
Terms of who was responsible for the Nord Stream, which cut off so much of the cheap energy to Germany and right across Europe, which we're all still feeling the effects of today. And at the same time, the European Court has recently found in against those who use even Russia Today as a media outlet in terms of anybody who re-publicizes videos from Russia Today is could be found to be guilty of a criminal offense. Currently, there are three people in.
Germany facing charges around the criminality of publicizing videos from a sanctioned TV station. So, here we go. So much for freedom of speech, so much for the United the European Union freedom rights in terms of a charter of freedom of expression of free speech, dissenting voices. That's the turn of the past. And so much for the enlightened, civilized Western world. Far from it. It's becoming quite dark now at the moment in terms of the context of the erosion of free speech,.
Of dissent, of anybody who's speaking out what's taking place. Couple this in with social media ban that's taking place as well. And what's the drive towards? Yes, you guessed it. It's totalitarianism, isn't it? Fascism. That's what's coming down the tracks. So, thanks so much for all your support with my videos. Please share them and please speak out and use your voices against what's taking place currently and be aware of these programs being pushed forward through the multiannual.
Financial framework, which is going to be agreed upon in Dublin over the next number of months. The Agora European Union fund, which won't be spoken about by the mainstream media. That's surprising. Thanks for the support and everybody again. Thanks for the likes, shares, and comments. I'm really grateful for all of them and everybody supporting me through buying me coffee as well most recently. Take care. So Dublin today. Slán go foill.
