  • The Private Wires Bill, brought forward last year, would let data centres connect directly to the grid through their own private electricity wires — about 92 data centres already consume some 21% of Ireland’s total grid, Dooley says, controlled by multinationals like Amazon, Google and Microsoft — and he reads Micheál Martin’s recent talk of solar, wind and even nuclear as a drive to power them.
  • Ordinary working people foot the bill, Dooley argues, through capacity charges and the enhanced grid — on top of a massive population increase — subsidising big energy companies and data centres that will enjoy the improved grid at lower costs; “we’ll pay for our own enslavement”, he says, adding the data centres’ noise pollution and stresses on water infrastructure to the ledger.
  • He ties in the government’s own fast-track-development push: relaxed planning laws creating “infrastructure corridors” for the big developers, landlords, speculators, bankers and multinationals to profit from land rezoning and digital infrastructure — while electricity, he says, was cheapest before privatisation and the EU’s liberalisation of the market and is now the dearest, a corporate capture he argues ends in “complete and utter dystopian control”.
  • The cornerstone, Dooley argues, is digital ID: King Charles’s King’s Speech days earlier promised digital ID to access online public services — coming down the tracks in Britain, with Keir Starmer “on his last legs”, and in Ireland too, where he points to digital ID minister Patrick O’Donovan, the man he says wanted to silence dissent during the recent fuel protests; pieced together with the hate-speech push, he warns, it opens the way to the 15-minute city and surveillance.

Hello everyone

Hello everyone. Last year, the Irish government brought forward a bill called the private wires bill. This would allow big data centers to have access to their own power supply through their private electricity wires. Now, they would connect directly to the grid and to power those data centers controlled by multinationals.

Currently, about 92 data centers in Ireland consume about 21% of the total grid. Now, over the last few weeks, we've seen Micheál Martin and others speaking about move towards renewables, solar, winds, and also nuclear energy has come on to the agenda. And this is support the drive towards the big multinationals, the data centers, owned by Amazon, Google, and Microsoft and others as well.

Now, at the same time, ordinary working people are paying for it through capacity charges, through the enhanced grid. And notwithstanding the massive increase in population we've seen over the past number of years. So, in essence, what we're doing is subsidizing the big energy companies, subsidizing the big data centers, many of which I mentioned, and they are going to benefit from the enhanced and improved grid with lower costs, and ordinary working people will pay for it.

So, we'll pay for our own enslavement as the drive towards a totalitarianism continues. Now, apart from the environmental effects of data centers in terms of the noise pollution, in terms of the stresses on the water infrastructure as well. If you can piece it together, over the last couple of years, your own government have said we have to fast-track new developments. Now, what's this all about? This is all about, of course, the big developers, the big landlords,.

Big speculators, the bankers, and also the multinationals that control these data centers. Uh they will have access, as I said, to their own private grid. And also, we can see what's taking place in terms of the wider societal changes in terms of the infrastructure corridors that are being created because of the relaxation of the planning laws by the Irish government to benefit those at the very top of society.

Benefit from land rezoning, and they'll also benefit from digital infrastructure as well. Now, we've seen this happen over the last period of time in terms of the drive towards digital identification. And a big part of this is towards pursuing digital ID agenda. Couple of days ago in Westminster, King Charles gave the King's Speech to the Houses of Parliament.

And this is where they bring forward bills in the context of what the next plan over the next 12 months is for the British government. They're currently in chaos at the moment with Keir Starmer on his last legs. But at the same time, they're pushing forward these bills. And one he said was digital ID to access digital online public services. So, this is coming down the tracks in Britain.

It's coming down the tracks in Ireland. We also have a digital ID minister here whose task is to misuse this, Patrick O'Donovan. This man who wanted to silence dissent during the recent fuel protests. So, if you piece all of this together with the hate speech, digital ID is a cornerstone of what's been taking place in terms of trying to control freedom of speech and in terms of the drive towards the push for data centers to take massive, massive.

I spoke in many videos about the privatization agenda, uh where we had the lowest price of electricity before privatization, in terms of liberalization of the market, and then the EU neo- the liberal agenda. But, now we have the highest prices. So, what we have is capture by these corporations, which again, when it comes in context of.

The government in alliance with the corporations, we all know where that leads to. Complete and utter dystopian control. So, this is what's taking place in Ireland currently. Watch out what's taking place. If you can lit- lit it all together in terms of the infrastructure is in place, they could talk about the 15-minute city, the surveillance, and everything else that's coming down the tracks. But, the cornerstone, as As all is digital ID, and that's where more and.

More people need to wake up to what's taking place. I need to speak out and stand up against what's taking place in Ireland and right across the world as well in many other places. As I mentioned Britain just recently. So, again, thanks so much for all the support for my videos. Really appreciate them. And thanks again from everybody who continues to share my videos far and wide. So, Dublin today, Sligo tomorrow. Talk to you all soon.

Bye-bye.

Digital ID — the “cornerstone” of what’s coming down the tracks.

The Private Wires Bill would let multinational-owned data centres — about 92 of them already drawing roughly 21% of Ireland’s grid, Dooley notes — plug into their own private power supply, just as King Charles’s King’s Speech promises digital ID for accessing public services in Britain. Dooley argues the pieces fit together: ordinary people subsidise the enhanced grid through capacity charges while digital ID — Ireland already has a minister for it, he says — forms the cornerstone of a drive toward “complete and utter dystopian control”.
