  • Connolly convened the Council of State in recent days citing human rights concerns with the bill, and it was open to her to refer it to the Supreme Court to test its constitutionality — instead she signed it into law, leaving it to citizens to take future constitutional cases; a “symbolic gesture”, Dooley argues, “window dressing” to make it look like she was doing something.
  • The bill is a precursor to the EU Migration and Asylum Pact, due to be transposed into Irish legislation in the coming months with major ramifications for sovereignty, Dooley argues — while Ireland’s opt-out clause under the Lisbon Treaty was never followed through on by a government he says has no interest in representing Irish sovereignty, its people or its borders, even as some insist this is a tougher policy protecting European borders.
  • Over €1.6 billion, Dooley says, has gone through the Department of Justice and Home Affairs as a contingency fund to run two systems side by side — the Irish system and the new EU-pact system — out of a total migration budget estimated at €6 billion this year; “another money-making racket”, he argues, pointing at the independents “of the Fine Gael and Fianna Fáil gene pool” who backed confidence in the government last week.
  • The new screening process pushes biometric data under the Eurodac system, tied to the digital wallet — a “surveillance state, police state” on the way across Europe, Dooley warns — and a Supreme Court referral would have put egg on the establishment’s face ahead of the EU presidency; Connolly, who he claims once worked for financial institutions evicting homeowners, won’t seek to address the Dáil on the loss of sovereignty, he argues, and was silent on the attacks on peaceful protesters during the recent fuel protests.

Hello everyone

Hello everyone. Catherine Connolly, President of Ireland, has just signed the International Protection Bill into Irish legislation. Now, this is a precursor for the European Union Migration and Asylum Pact, which will have which will have far-reaching consequences for Irish sovereignty and our own border control. But, Catherine Connolly convened the Council of State in the last number of days, citing a number of human rights concerns with the Immigration Protection Bill.

And to test the constitutionality of it, it was open to her then to refer it to the Supreme Court for judgment. But, now she has decided not to refer it to the Supreme Court and has signed the bill into Irish law. This leaves it open in the future now to citizens taking cases against the International Protection Bill in terms of testing its constitutionality. But, we have to remember before all this started, we had an opt-out clause that was part of the.

Lisbon Treaty, which was never followed through on by the Irish government. Is that any surprise when they've no interest in representing our sovereignty, our Irish people, or come to think of it, our Irish borders? But, at the same time, there are many saying this is a tougher immigration policy and aligned with the European Union by protecting European borders. Interesting, isn't it? At the same time, this is about driving towards a digital ID because part of the new process being.

Pushed forward is around screening and using biometric data to list people under the Eurodac system. And this is what they will say is to deal with the crisis of what they would call illegal immigration or refugees coming right across Europe. And that's tied in to the digital wallet. So, a surveillance state, police state is on the way right across Europe. And it's interesting as well in terms of the timing of this because if this was referred to the Supreme Court, it would.

Would really put egg on the face of the Irish establishment in advance of the European Union presidency. When they always claim to be the best boys and girls in the class by putting their hands up in terms of supporting European Union at every turn rather than the citizens of our country. They, again, have done the same through this Immigration Protection Bill. Because another money-making racket, over 1.6 billion euro has been given over through the Department of Justice.

And Home Affairs, a total budget for migration, which was estimated at 6 billion euro this year. Some money, isn't it? And this 1.6 billion euro is to be used as a contingency fund so they could run two systems side by side, the Irish system plus the new system, which is part of the European Union Migration and Asylum Pact, which was passed by the Irish government. And this is a big part of the program for government.

So, look to all your politicians who supported confidence in the government last week, and in particular those independents or so-called independents who are of the Fine Gael and Fianna Fáil gene pool. And at the same time now, it would leave this bill really to be transposed into Irish legislation in the coming months, which will have major ramifications for our sovereignty. But, there was no human rights concerns around the breach of our sovereignty by Catherine Connolly. And by signing.

This into law, has shown herself up really to be a safe pair of hands for the Irish establishment. Could anybody really expect any different from somebody who previously worked for financial institutions to evict home home owners? But, it's um this sickening sort of looking at the so-called people who stand up for human rights that you have these so-called human rights advocates now standing on the side of the establishment and just paid lip service through the symbolic gesture of.

Calling the Council of State to make it look like she was doing something when in fact what did she do? Just had the window dressing before she signed this into Irish legislation. And at the same time now, she can actually call and her Council of State to go and speak in front of the Dáil. But, this needs government approval under the Constitution to speak about the loss of sovereignty. But, Catherine Connolly won't, which is the same as she.

Connolly signs the immigration bill — a “safe pair of hands” for the establishment.

President Catherine Connolly signs the International Protection Bill — a precursor to the EU Migration and Asylum Pact — into Irish law, having convened the Council of State over human rights concerns but declined to refer the bill to the Supreme Court. Dooley argues the convening was mere “window dressing” from a president proving herself a “safe pair of hands” for an establishment cutting away Irish sovereignty and border control.
